I continue to love the entire process of producing art. It’s not just about the finished paintings, but also the fleeting moments when a quick sketch made with a simple ball-point pen holds profound meaning and captures the essence of the person or view that I am looking at.

My very first full-time employment was as a ‘paste-up’ artist for a large advertising agency in London . It was my job to “set” the words in an advertisement using ‘Letreset” - how things have changed since then!
I have spent many years creating paintings which I hope speak to people. I feel I have to translate the visual world for people to really understand the beauty that is around us all.
