Lawrence is an established fine art painter and tutor with a long career in the fine arts. The focus of her work in recent years, whether it is portraiture or landscapes is representing the contrast of light and shadow. She works in many media including Oils, Acrylics, Ink, Watercolour and Drawing media. She has spent a major part of her adult life as an artist/tutor not only in the UK, but in Canada & Americ, France and Greece. Her work has been shown at the Mall & Westminster Galleries and has won several awards including a Bronze Medal at the 1994 Paris Salon(see full bio page). She is open to discuss commissions for portraits or landscape interpretations .
